See a skin disease specialist (dermatologist) or a doctor if the itching

  • Is very severe and distracts you from your daily activities
  • It prevents you from sleeping well
  • Lasts more than two weeks and doesn’t improve with self-care measures
  • Is accompanied by other symptoms such as Weight Loss, Extreme Weakness, Frequent urge to urinate, changes in bowel habits, Fever and skin redness.
  • Affects your whole body.

Internal Itch that is not associated to any diseases, usually resolves by itself, you can also try this self care Measures.

Take a lukewarm bath. Sprinkle the bath water with baking soda, uncooked oatmeal or colloidal oatmeal — a finely ground oatmeal that is made for the bathtub.

Choose mild soaps without dyes or perfumes. Be sure to rinse the soap completely off your body.

Use a mild, unscented laundry detergent when washing clothes, bedding and towels.

Use a high-quality moisturizing cream on your skin. Apply this cream at least once or twice daily. Concentrating on the spots where itching is severe.

Avoid Low Quality Substances that causes an allergic reactions or irritate the skin such as Perfume, Skin Products with Fragrance, Cosmetics and Cleaning Products.
